i need to start reminding myself that it’s okay to not always have perfect days and mess up once in a while. i have to forgive myself and stop worrying about the scale. i think i’m going to stop weighing myself for a month or so and just stay focused on my intake and exercise.

EVERYONE who reblogs this in the next half hour will be promo’d.

A Man With Alzheimers Reaction To Music
This is amazing.
In this clip a man named Henry, who’s been suffering from alzheimers for quite some time, listens to Cab Calloway, a favorite artist of his. He usually could only answer yes and no questions, but in this clip the music literally sparks the life back into him. What happens next is like a miracle, he actually starts to make out sentences expressing his love for music. He seems completely uneffected with his disorder.
magic.

this is why music is in our lives.
